Our Poi are carefully woven and handcrafted using 8Ply Acrylic Knitting Yarn.The design and colour matching techniques we use in creating our Poi with a very unique style are Inspired by a range of colours found in flowers.
We celebrate creativity and expression daily offering the unique artistic tools that will inspire you to elevate and activate your creative spirit to express, heal and celebrate you and your inner child🫶
About Daisy & Iris
The name Daisy & Iris was quite the inspiration not only from flowers but the names of my Two daughters. My eldest, Joy-Daisy who is 9yrs and my youngest newborn miss Iris-Jade. My eldest daughter and I share various similarities in Interests and both have a strong passion and expression for creativity. It is a dream of ours to own our own Mother and Daughter business one day, where we can grow our own unique brands and Ideas and flourish where ever that rainbow goes. This platform has allowed us the oppurtunity to share our amazing Ideas and creations with you all and we hope to connect with those who also share the same Interests, shine and grow in our own unique ways💜💛🤍🫶
Family & Diversity
I first started creating my own poi as an on and off hobbie back in 2015 while living and working in Australia. It was something I had grew up around as a kid, watching the kuia at hahuru marae making them for kapa haka groups. That memory of them had stuck with me throughout my life.
Now it is something that I can see me and my daughters doing aswell.
Although our range of Poi are Inspired from a colourfull perspective and background, we do offer to create custom Poi that fit to your own unique description and needs.
We also create traditional Poi that represent all cultural significant backgrounds, mostly for use in Kapahaka and Performing Arts.
